Annoncé pour le 19 mars prochain, le prochain album de Scorpion s’intitulera Sting In The Tail et s’offre deux extraits en écoute sur leur site officiel…

It was always our pleasure, our purpose in life, our passion and we were fortunate enough to make music for you – whether it was live on stage or in the studio, creating new songs.

While we were working on our album these past few months, we could literally feel how powerful and creative our work was – and how much fun we were still having, in the process. But there was also something else: We want to end the Scorpion’s extraordinary career on a high note. We are extremely grateful for the fact that we still have the same passion for music we’ve always had since the beginning. This is why, especially now, we agree we have reached the end of the road. We finish our career with an album we consider to be one of the best we have ever recorded and with a tour that will start in our home country Germany and take us to five different continents over the next few years.

We want you, our fans, to be the first to know about this. Thank you for your never-ending support throughout the years!

Virgin Killer de Scorpions censuré sur Wikipedia !

Aux UK, ce sont les FAI qui filtrent les contenus illégaux et par excès de zèle ils ont censuré la pochette de Virgin Killer, un album de Scorpions sorti en ‘76.
Ces méthodes remettent en question la liberté d’expression selon moi, on peut certes être révolté contre la pédophilie cela ne fait aucun doute pourtant dans ce cas, il n’y a eu aucun abus.
A mon avis on aurait mieux à faire que de dépenser l’argent inutilement dans des systèmes coûteux de bridage qui mettent en péril l’information. Pour moi, il faudrait concentrer les efforts pour mettre en examen les vrais coupables.
La nudité n’est pas un crime je crois, enfin pas encore…

Scorpions - Virgin Killer

Il est intéressant de noter aussi que les gouvernements ont le pouvoir de mettre en place des filtres qui pourraient bien arriver en France prochainement. Dans ce cas on peut réellement s’inquiéter quant à l’avenir de l’information si celle-ci est contrôlée par les dirigeants de l’État…
Ça a déjà commencé avec la Télévision publique.

Filtrer la nudité et la pornographie est une très bonne chose mais ceci incombe aux parents responsables qui bien souvent négligent ce point pourtant il existe d’excellents systèmes permettant sa mise en place.
A noter que dans Windows Vista, le filtre parental est intégré, pour XP vous pouvez télécharger la suite Live de Microsoft qui comprend également un logiciel de ce type.
